We will be doing double vinyasa flows throughout our practice, so be "doubly" prepared! In addition to that, we'll bring attention to chaturangas once again and chest openers to counterpose chaturangas. There have been some questions about the proper way to do chaturangas, and I have also noticed people pushing themselves through incorrect alignments, so this class will be a refresher of the chaturangas class we have done a few weeks back.
In addition, I may include a 15-minute abs session after class for those interested. If you have any questions or concerns prior to class, please e-mail me.
Looking forward to see you all then!

Tonight's class had a focus on chaturangas, chest openers and strengtheners -- all with a twist -- double-time vinyasas.
Initially, when I had planned for this evening's class, I came up with the idea to do double vinyasa without having done them myself. After posting the theme, I went home and prepared the class by going through the sequences and realized it was easier said than done. I wanted to follow through with my words, so I ensured to incorporate the double vinyasas throughout. Tonight's theme (as shown above) is "Seeing Double", and let me tell you, I was certainly "seeing double" after that class!
I don't know if it was the extreme heat or the double vinyasas, but I was literally drowned in sweat. I had to pull out my yogitoes towel to prevent from slippage. I am curious to know if I'll be able to get out of bed tomorrow... AND more interesting is how you feel tonight and tomorrow.
If you have any feedback about tonight's class, I invite you to post a comment or send me an e-mail. Your feedback only makes our practice more fun, so please, I encourage it!
This Sunday, if weather prevails, it will definitely be a restorative practice. Great class to bring your friends or family to introduce them to yoga!
Thanks again for your endless energy and sense of humor! I look forward to hearing back from you!
