To break that habit, this week's class will be completely different (well, not completely...). I will be changing the formats around a little, and perhaps surprise you here and there.
Getting stuck in a rut is no fun, so to change things up a little, I have decided to take a different approach this week. The theme will be... well, "no theme and just go with the flow" as vinyasa teaches us to do. Some of you may love it, and some of you may be indifferent, but what I will guarantee is that you will have a good workout and stretch!
After this class, I will rely on some of you to provide me with feedback as it is a different style than what we have grown so accustomed to. Please be candid - it takes a lot of offend me, so no worries.
I look forward to seeing you in class tomorrow! Cheers!

Ahhhh.....
What a wonderful class! Thank you so much for coming out and providing such valuable and positive feedback to this evening's practice. As it was clear, the format of the class was changed by taking out the wave sequence in the middle. Instead, we incorporated a lot of vinyasa sequences and a 15 mins. variation of the sun salutation. I hope you all enjoyed it. The purpose of the duration of sun salutation is to teach the mind to free up any worries or anticipations of poses and just naturally let the body flow. The counting to 10 to trigger the next pose is sort of like a mantra to keep the mind focused, yet clear of any thoughts.
It is extremely humbling to see the same people at every class and to hear your wonderful feedback. Like I say over and over again, it's your energy and dedication each week that inspires me week in and week out. Thank you again and it was great to see you!
Reminder: no outdoor sunday class this week, but that doesn't mean you can't practice on your own. ;)
