Tomorrow, we will be focusing on our lower bodies, particularly the larger muscle groups such as quadriceps through lunges and chair poses, hamstrings through warrior poses, and glutes through balancing poses.
We will continue with our Ashtanga sun salutations for warm-up and throughout the class as our cardio portion. I'm looking forward to our practice tomorrow... been so busy lately, so it will be a much-needed escape.
The new website will be up and running very soon, and I guarantee it to be better than ever! I'm very excited for it, and I hope for it to be a resource to complement our practice. I will keep you posted!
Hope to see you tomorrow!!!

This evening's class was a tough one, and I must say I was IMPRESSED! It was another full class of 14 participants, most of which were returning. Hopefully, I did not scare the new ones away. Everyone took on the challenge (whether or not with reluctance), and we all enjoyed a very challenging practice. We incorporated the Ashtanga style of sun salutations again for this class, and it definitely kept our heart rates up.
I particularly enjoyed the pose from the standing split, to the "curtsy", and then straight to warrior III. After everyone's sigh, I assumed they all enjoyed it as well! :)
Now that the website (and blog) is up and running, please reach out and post away. Tell me how you felt about tonight's class, and if there were particular poses you liked. As always, your feedback is what makes this class and our practice as enjoyable every week. Thanks for your support and energy!
